Around the villa
- Pool: there is no lifeguard. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. No diving.
- Floors, steps and stairs: natural stone, wood and tiles can be slippery when wet; traditional joglo houses have high steps.
- Nature: rice fields, gardens, insects and animals are part of the setting.
- Utilities: power, water and internet in Bali can be interrupted; we fix problems as quickly as we can.
- Accessibility: our villas have steps and uneven paths and are not fully accessible for guests with limited mobility. Please contact us before booking so we can advise you.
Scooters and activities
- Scooters: if you ride a scooter during your stay, you do so at your own risk. You need a valid licence for motorcycles and must wear a helmet; please make sure your travel insurance covers scooter riding.
- Tours and activities booked with third parties are their responsibility, even if we recommended or arranged them.
Belongings
Every bedroom has a safe for your valuables; you will find instructions in your villa guide. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings, unless caused by us.
If something goes missing, please tell us straight away. We report every suspected theft to the local police without delay and support you with the report. The police station does not take reports at night, so a case that comes up in the evening or at night can only be reported the following morning. If you would like to be present, please keep this in mind when planning your departure.
Events beyond our control
We are not responsible for delays, extra costs or changes caused by events beyond our control, such as flight delays, severe weather, natural disasters, illness, strikes, unrest or decisions of authorities.
Limits of this waiver
This waiver applies to the extent permitted by law. It does not limit our liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence of us or our staff, or any rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.
